Yule Centerpiece Workshop
December 3rd, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
- This event has passed.
We offered our yule blessings centerpiece last year and she was a big hit, so we are bringing her back — with some modifications!
Our Yule centerpiece features a pillar candle, a choice between dried citrus slices or faux berries/small ornaments, fresh winter greens, pine cones, cinnamon sticks, fresh red ilex berries, and amaranthus. Perfect to celebrate the warmth of the season and Yule honorings. Select between a Burgundy, Ivory or Orange Pillar Candle and Red or White Amaranthus.
“The word “Yule” comes from Old English geol, which shares a history with the equivalent word from Old Norse, jól. Both these words referred to a midwinter festival centered around the winter solstice, which traditionally marked the halfway point of the winter season. After the solstice—the shortest day of the year—the days again begin to grow longer, so it’s thought that Yule was a celebration of the re-appearance of the Sun and the fertile land’s rebirth.”
This workshop is perfect for first-time creators as well as our tried and true attendees! Step by step direction is provided to ensure you leave with your very own beautiful centerpiece.
Workshop tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a different attendee, or exchanged for in-store credit.
