If you notice your plant’s leaves splitting, this is natural. This is to protect their large leaves from snapping from rain and wind.
Difference between Orange Bird of Paradise and White Bird of Paradise: the white variety grows much larger with broader, banana-like leaves and white flowers, while the orange variety is smaller with narrower, boat-paddle shaped leaves and bright orange flowers.
